World Series of Parker · Event 3-3
Lee Ugarte Takes Out Half the Field, and Angela Cain Is Second Again
A third straight record pool, and a third different winner in three events.
Nine players and four rebuys made $510, past the record set two months ago and the first WSOP event to clear five hundred dollars. Lee Ugarte made six of the twelve eliminations and won $240.
It is his second WSOP win, five years after the H.O.R.S.E. event that closed the first series, and it is his best night in the format: he had played Omaha Hi/Lo three times here and never finished better than third.
Angela Cain was second for $145, matching the runner-up finish she took in the 2021 Big O event — and she made two knockouts, including the man who finished third.
Eric Denny rebought and took third for $125.

The undercard

Brian Connolly played his first WSOP event and finished eighth.
The bigger picture
Three events, three winners, and the pool has grown every time: $270, $470, $510. Fourteen rebuys have gone in across the three nights, which at $40 apiece is where most of that growth has come from.
Lee Ugarte jumps to the top of the table on 95.00 from two starts — he missed the opener — with Eric Denny second on 74.33 from three.
