Across every league and every era, no player has scored at a higher rate than Justin Vaughn. His 26.63 points a tournament is the best career average in the record book — ahead of every champion, every trophy holder, everybody. He has never won a season title, and that is one of the odder facts in this league.

The reason is in the shape of his results. Justin has 12 third-place finishes and 5 runner-ups against 3 wins. He is at the final table constantly and past it less often than the arithmetic says he should be.

The wins are all Eight Deuce and all substantial. #12 in February 2022, eighteen players, five knockouts, $460 for first. #34 in April 2024. And #46 in June 2025 — sixteen runners, four knockouts, $470 in prize money, the biggest single payday of his career.

He has 63 starts, 22 cashes and $4,540 in career prize money, and the money is heavily weighted to Eight Deuce: $3,835 of it has come in that league from forty-five tournaments. He cashed at the Annual in one of his four appearances and has twice cashed at the Tournament of Champions without winning it.

Heads-up he is three and five. Twice he has been one hand away — most recently #54 in April 2026, second to Steve McLean.

Eleven years in, Justin finished fifth in the 2025 Player of the Year race and third in 2022. The season title has not landed yet. On the numbers, it is overdue.
