The last time Dawn Bjork won a Canterberry Poker League tournament was 9 August 2013. On Friday — 9 August 2019, six years to the day — she won her fifth, taking $225 out of a twenty-one-player field in five hours.

Seventy-two months is the second-longest gap between two wins this league has recorded. Only Mike Conner’s ten years, between tournament #1 and tournament #100, is longer.

All five of Dawn’s wins are also every tournament this league has ever had won by a woman. She took two in 2010, one in 2011, one in 2013 and this.
