Eric Denny Knocks Out Six and Wins His Nineteenth
More career wins than anyone in either league — and Sean Denny cashes in his second tournament.
Eric Denny made six knockouts — the players who finished second, third, seventh, eighth and thirteenth among them — and won $470 after five hours and ten minutes. It is his fifth Eight Deuce win and the nineteenth of his career, more than anyone else has managed across the two leagues.
Lee Ugarte was second for $305 after twenty-five minutes heads-up, his second final in five tournaments this season.
Jeff Ferguson took third and $210, cashing for the second tournament in a row. Sean Denny was fourth for $155 in only his second Eight Deuce tournament.

The undercard
Paul Coffman made two knockouts and bubbled in fifth, his best result since March of last year. Brian Connolly, who won last month, rebought and went tenth.
Shawn Miller, who leads the season, was the first player out and dropped to second.
The bigger picture
Fifteen players and six rebuys made $1,140, the fifth tournament in a row over $1,100 — a run the league has never had before. The season stands at $6,180 after five nights; the whole of 2023 produced $9,080.
Five tournaments, five different winners, and Lee Ugarte is back on top with 238.71 from four starts.
